Quick Beef and Noodles Twist

Here’s a recipe that we’ll definitely be making again. It’s a great way to mix up the standard meal rotation a bit. You probably have most of these ingredients in your pantry right now.

 

Ingredients

2 cups uncooked egg noodles

1 lb Broad River ground beef

1 medium chopped onion

2 minced garlic cloves

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

¼ teaspoon Italian seasoning

¼ cup flour

2 cups beef broth

Salt (Redmond’s or other pink salt) and pepper

 

Directions

Boil a salted pot of water and cook the egg noodles

While waiting on the noodles, cook the ground beef and onion over medium-high heat in a skillet

Brown the beef and reduce heat to medium

Add the garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian seasoning, stir and cook for a minute

Stir in the flour and cook for another minute

Add the beef broth and continue to stir while cooking for another 5 minutes

Drain the egg noodles and mix them in the skillet

Season with salt and pepper as desired and enjoy!

You can also try adding more spices, veggies, or sour cream to the recipe to suit your taste buds.
