The cows go on vacation
We took the cows on a vacation after a long, hot, and mostly dry summer. Peach House Farm planted their back 40 in cover crops late in the season. We worked out a deal to let our cows transform that forage into fertilizer for them. One of the really nice things about the way we manage the cattle is that the setup is completely portable. The cows are definitely enjoying it and the timing was perfect for us.
